Terrific and memorable trekking

I was in the company of other tourists namely Astride ( Austria), Anthony and Corinne ( French couple), Joseph and Beatrice ( Swiss couple).The tour is good value for money compared to other tours which may be cheaper but are not to the required standard as they do not do the full circle but return on the same way.
We had a visit to a waterfall, Mountain/jungle trekking/hiking, arrived at the native village of Mike, our cheerful and English speaking, experienced guide where we met his family members and after dinner ( prepared by the locals), we had Thai songs and music around a fire. The local musician was fantastic. we slept in a large hut made of bamboo under mosquito nets.
Next day we walked again for about 2.5 hours in the Jungle to reach a river where we did Bamboo rafting for about 40 mins to reach another village called Lahu> We slept there. Had again locally prepared food which was delicious and as desert had sticky rice prepared ( rice/coconut sugar and salt) cooked inside bamboo on fire. We smoked locally made cigarettes rolled in banana leaf and drank HAPPY WATER- a sort of whisky prepared with rice.
on the third day , we did bamboo rafting again for about 2 hours on the river to reach a place where we had lunch and then back to the Chiang Mai.
I loved the jungle, the trekking, the hiking, the bamboo rafting, the elephant riding and our nights in the bamboo huts. It was quite an experience.
We thank Mike , Jit and Piroon for the organisation of the tour which went on smoothly and beyond our expectations.
It was really something terrific and memorable. Astride, Anthony, Corinne , Joseph and Beatrice equally had an excellent moments.
I recommend this 3 days and 2 nights tour to anybody organised by Mrs Jit and Mr Piroon and as guide ask for Mike.

Ein tolles Trekking-Erlebnis

Die 3-Tagestour mit insgesamt 9 Personen war toll. Das Essen war super, die Wanderung durch die Wälder mit Erläuterungen von unserm Guide Mike zur Natur und Geschichte der "Karen", der selber dort aufgewachsen ist, war ein Erlebnis. Vor allem die BambusfloÃfahrt war, sehr empfehlenswert.

Fantastische Trekking-Tour

Die 3-Tages Tour war einfach nur fantastisch! Meine Erwartungen wurden definitiv übertroffen! Piroon, unser Tourguide, steckte so viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut in diese Tour. Das Essen, Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen, alles war überragend lecker!
Das Preis-Leistungverhältnis stimmt absolut. Ich würde die Tour jederzeit wieder machen, diese Tour ist jeder Bath und jede Sekunde wert!
Auch das Guesthouse war super. Einfach ausgestattet, aber für den Preis super! Jit und Piroon sind so herzliche Gastgeber und helfen wo sie nur können.
Thanks again Jit and Piroon! It was fantastic!!!

Fantastic trekking tour!

We went on a 3 day 2 night trekking tour with Mike and it was a wonderful experience!! We stayed in two different villages and Mike was so kind to explain everything (how people work, cook and so on without electricity). the elephant ride was fantastic and we had a lot of fun on the bamboo raft. Thank god the trekking wasn't too difficult as it was really hot weather ;)
We will definitely recommend this tour to all our friends if they get the chance to visit Chiang Mai and hopefully this won't be our last trip with Mike...

Hardly recommended trekking tour!

I went with a friend for a few days to Chiang Mai. We wanted to make a 2 day trekking tour with an overnight stay. We found Chiang Mai trekking in the internet and decided for due to the very good valuations. We asked Jit to organize a tour very spontaneous (a day after) and she made it happen. Our guide was Song. We startet at 8 am with a trekking tour to a viewpoint in the mountains (very tough but amazing view) and went to a tribe after. There we made an elephant ride and cooked dinner together with the tribe people. The tribe was very clean and very friendly. We felt safe and welcome there. The next day we made a 2hr tour with a float and visited a waterfall. It was a very great trip and I hardly recommend to book Jit and Piroons tours for such trips!!! Jit, Song thank you so much again for this experience!! :)
