Ein unvergessliches Trekking!

Unsere Erwartungshaltungen wurden voll übertroffen. Wir sind auf Piroon und Pit über die Bewertungen im Internet gestoßen. Nach dem zuverlässigen Schriftwechsel waren wir uns schnell sicher über Piroon unsere Aktivitäten zu buchen. Nicht nur die Dance und Dinner Show am Heiligabend, sondern auch die dreitägige Trekking Tour werden unvergessliche Erlebnisse für uns bleiben. Mike kümmert sich bestens um alles und hat mit Malte einen neuen Freund fürs Leben gewonnen. Die Floßfahrt weckte in uns den Sportgeist und wir haben uns mit unseren starken Jungs aus Frankreich packende Zweikämpfe geliefert.

After extensive research on tripadvisor we decided for the 3 days / 2 nights trip with piroon. The top rating of both, tour and guide is absolutely justified. The program which involves hiking, overnight stay in remote villages and rafting was definitely a great experience even for me beeing a former boyscout and hence having quite some expectations about outdoor activities. Still the trip is perfectly fitted for families.
However, what made the trip really exceptional was our tour guide Mike. He is very competent in answering any kind of questions and likes to sit with you at the fire in the evenings telling stories. And as he grew up in one of those villages he really knows some good ones!
Finally, he did a great job in making this trip an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Me & 2 of my friends have recently done the 2-day tour with Jit & Piroon.
First, I need to stress Jit's incredible hospitality. She picked us at the airport on our arrival, adviced on a good place to eat, recommended a massage place, etc. She even drove us to Tiger Kingdom. Thai people are overall nice & friendly, but Jit is truly even beyond that!
The tour itself was awesome. We were seeking some off beaten path experience and it was the right choice!
The start of the tour was a bit rough though - quite a bit of driving to get to the starting point while sitting on a pick-up truck. Not much fun & really tiring. But what follows after pays off! Trekking through the mountains, serene Karen villages, delicisious food prepared by locals, adventurous bamboo rafting, etc. All just great!!
Our guide - Mike, was a great companion. He was very nice, caring & helpful all the time througout the trip. He was born in Karen village, knows all the villagers personally as well as all the area. And he spoke good english!
After we finished the tour, Mike took us for a Thai box match and showed us around a bit. We had real fun & highly appreciate his hospitality.
I have done several private tours in Asia, this one was by far the best!
